You can now vote in UK elections!

The Elections Act 2022 has removed the restriction on British citizens who have been resident overseas for more than 15 consecutive years from voting in UK elections. No matter how long you have resided outside the UK, you can register to vote at https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You can ignore all the links there and just go to the “Start now” box. You will need your NI number, your passport (current or expired) and the UK address where you were last registered.
Make sure candidates in your former UK constituency know you will cast your vote for the party that guarantees an end to frozen pensions!
